Is it illegal to remove front cover of Vaillant boiler?
The best solution my friend is to get another engineer in who is more confident with Vaillant. Sadly by removing the front cover of the boiler you break a combustion seal which is protecting you and your family from any nasty fumes the boiler may kick out. Hence It is illegal for you to remove it unless you are Gas Safe.

The boiler is working for the underfloor heating and the central heating, but is not heating the hot water. The motorised valve for the hot water on the megaflo is open, and the overheat reset on the tank is ok, but there doesn’t appear to be a demand for the boiler to fire up coming from the hot water system!
