What is a step team in high school?
A school step team puts on performances that involve drill-team moves, cheerleading, gymnastics and acrobatics. Stepping always involves clapping and stomping, sometimes simultaneously, and allows steppers to use their bodies to create rhythms.

- Receiving a home routine trophy at UDA Camp with 7 or more dancers in attendance.
- Receiving a Superior Trophy at UDA Camp with 7 or more dancers in attendance.
- Receiving a trophy at a UDA Fall Competitions if the team attended a camp with 7 or more participants.

About Us National Step League is step competition program, comprised of over 400 step teams ranging from ages 9 to 21. Our competition series runs from January to June, progressing from State Level to the Regional Level, and ultimately to our Annual National Championship.

How to compete in the NDTC national championship?
