The major differences are narrower dimensions in the foot width and calf circumference. If you were to choose one sock for the whole season (and those to come), the Smartwool PhD is our recommendation. The Icebreaker Ski+ Light did prove to dry a little faster than the Smartwool but isn’t nearly as durable.
