Not because of the cost; but because all the cars leaving after a show have to a) funnel down the ramp and b) negotiate a series of nearby traffic lights at the bottom of the ramp to get anywhere. Prices for events at The Sage are high enough without adding extortionate car parking charges. I’m off to the Sunderland Empire instead.
