GCMM is a project started by dsbomb and justb, which is based on Askot’s modification to add SD support to the mcbackup libogc example. Suloku has updated the code to newest libraries to port it to the Wii system, and what I find more important: restoring savegames now works properly.

This little kit allows you to connect a MicroSD card to the Serial Port 2 of the GameCube. You can use this card with Swiss, so it doesn’t take up a memory card slot anymore. The SD2SP2 is also compatible with the upcoming GCLoader ODE by Black Dog Tech.
Where does Nintendont store save files?
it only send settings and game path to nintendont when you launch it. that’s all. nintendont is the one responsible for creating/reading/writing the savegame file. if it’s on USB, it will be on usb:/saves/ etc.
