Northern Tier is the Boy Scouts of America’s gateway to adventure in the Great Northwoods. In the winter, Northern Tier is home to the Okpik Cold Weather Camping program, the BSA’s premier winter high adventure program. Fall trips are also available. All trips are fully outfitted and provisioned.

What was the first year for the northern tier’s satellite operation in Bissett Manitoba Canada?
During the summer of 1971, crews made their first adventures into the Canadian Waters, as the BSA explored options for Satellite Bases in Canada. Eventually these programs/locations became our current operations of Bissett, Manitoba and Atikokan, Ontario.
