It’s a good space 4X now. It’s not my personal favorite (mostly because I prefer star-lanes over space-hexes), but it’s certainly recommendable if you pick all the DLCs, especially Crusade. It’s highly polished now with probably the best 4X AI out there. I highly recommend it.
