Summer Sessions Welcomes All Types of Students Undergraduate and graduate students of UC Berkeley enroll in courses through Calcentral. UCB Alumni, withdrawn, and dismissed students are not eligible to register for summer sessions as current UCB students.

Does Berkeley ship cover summer?
The Berkeley Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) is not available for international Summer Session students. Please note, for international students who will be registered students in Fall or Spring, the insurance requirements to waive out of SHIP are different than the requirements for visas.
