I ended up hooking an inline fuse to test the fans….10 amp blew instantly, 15 did the same, a 20 amp started the fans then blew, 25 amp ran the fans for a few seconds then blew, 30 amp ran without blowing. I think I will be ok with the controller I bought…it has a 45 amp fuse inline.
