If you import a MIDI file into Sibelius, your score may become littered with MIDI messages. These start with a tilde (~) and are automatically hidden by Sibelius. However, you can easily and permanently remove them by using the Advanced Filter to select all text which includes the tilde (~), and then pressing delete.
