Is a 10K much harder than a 5K?
The 10K (6.2 miles) is a tough distance. Even though it’s twice as long as the 5K, the 10K is only run about 15 to 20 seconds per mile slower than 5K race pace. This means the 10K can be quite a painful race!

The 2021 Reno Connector Run will be a unique event. We are offering a hybrid race for 2021. The event will offer the ability to race with others on a marked course and start & finish line. This will be a two day event will several scheduled start times. The 10K will be on Saturday and the 5K will be on Sunday.
