The New World Order (commonly abbreviated as nWo) is a professional wrestling stable that originally consisted of “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
Who came up with the nWo?
The group was created when Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, two wrestlers who had recently come over to WCW from the WWF and labelled as “The Outsiders,” aligned themselves with long-time fan favourite Hulk Hogan, who infamously turned heel to join the new group at Bash at the Beach 1996.
How did nWo end?
On July 15th, 2002, the NWO officially died. In a perhaps fitting move, the legendary wrestling stable was put out of its misery by Vince McMahon himself. The week before, Kevin Nash was injured and instead of trying to force it to go on, WWE decided it was time for the Order to end.
