The JVM is definitely one of the best high gain amps on the market, pretty much my favorite because i love Marshall personality. but I would say the others are the Triaxis/290, MARK V and the multi Watt Rectifiers.

It opens the amp up and gives it that old marshall “squish” with the pot I can set it to stock which gives you a tighter more compressed feel and tone when I want to play more mid scooped modern higher gain stuff, or I can open it up and it gives you a much more open looser feel.
