CD50 is the timber protection oil originally developed for cedar weatherboards and all species of dry timber. CD50 controls a wide range of mould, fungi and bacteria, and is the oil of choice for: Weatherboards and timbers up to 50mm depth. Situations when better weather protection is needed at the surface.
How long does Cutek CD50 take to dry?
Unlike conventional paint films, Cutek CD50 is extremely slow drying to ensure maximum penetration into the timber is achieved. It can be as long as 72 hours after the first coat is applied before it can be recoated. The more oil that is allowed to absorb into the timber the longer the coating will last.

If CD50 inadvertently comes in contact with concrete, clean off immediately with SARAClean Liquid. Apply evenly with brush, speed brush, roller or spray – remove excess drips and runs. Timber should be only slightly oily after application. Allow to “dry” before allowing foot traffic, if on a deck.
