What is laser bore?
Laser bore sighters (or laser bore sights) are used to make sure guns are properly calibrated even after a long trip. A laser bore sight is a small laser pointer made to fit in the barrel of a gun.

Is the barrel of a Tacticon laser Crooked?
Apparently the laser casing is not flush with the barrel making it wiggle. That wiggle deviates the dot about an inch at 5 yards. With that major deviation you wouldn’t be able to see the dot on target at 50 yards. And no the barrel is not crooked, its a brand new $1k BCM upper receiver. Honestly Im not even that disappointed with the product.
How is the shell casing attached to the projectile?
With separated ammunition, the shell casing is not attached to the projectile at all. Normally, the shell casing for separated ammunition is closed with a plug to protect the propellant and assist with pushing the projectile into the chamber of the gun.

The laser cartridge should be loaded in the barrel by hand and not lodes I to a magazine first, and the bolt should be very gently rested on the back of the laser, don’t slam the bolt.
