Panther Paw is our program that allows parents to view their student’s grades, lunch account balance, etc., you will need to create a new account. If you do not have a home computer, you can set up and access your student’s account from a computer here at school or at your local library.

A panther’s foot pad is shaped like a trapezoid. A track left by a front foot of the panther appears round when compared to a rear track, because the front pad is wider. The rear pad is narrower, giving the rear foot track an oval shape.

  1. Keep children within sight and close to you.
  2. Give the panther space.
  3. Do not run.
  4. Avoid crouching or bending over.
  5. Make yourself appear larger, open your jacket, raise your arms, throw stones, branches, etc.
  6. If attacked, fight back with whatever is at hand (without turning your back).

How sensitive are a dogs paws?

While the leathery bottoms are padded to withstand changing terrain and temperatures, the tops are among the most sensitive parts of a dog’s body. The spaces in between the paw pads are even more sensitive than the tops, and trying to get in-between your dog’s paw pads might provoke a serious reaction.

How do you treat an injured paw pad?

Necessary steps to fix a dog paw pad injury

  1. Clean out the wound (as best you can with warm water)
  2. Clean the wound with Betadine.
  3. Use tweezers to get out stuck particles.
  4. Dry the paw pad.
  5. Apply some antibiotic ointment.
  6. Apply a bandage.
  7. Seek veterinary care.
