Is skating allowed in Calgary?

Hockey sticks and nets, toboggans, sleds and are not allowed on the ice. For your safety, do not skate in areas that are not designated for skating. Skating is prohibited on storm ponds and on the Glenmore Reservoir. Ice in these areas is unstable and dangerous due to rapid changes in water depth.
