Can you put vinyl on sublimation blanks?

Sublimation is more expensive, but you don’t risk fading, peeling, and it’s dishwasher and microwave safe (for things like mugs). And finally you can also cut adhesive vinyl and apply to sublimation blanks the same way you would transfer vinyl to any other surface.

Can I sublimate on anything?

Dye sublimation is a great process to print on a wide selection of materials: plastic, ceramic, polyester T-shirts—and our favorite substrate, metal! Although the process of sublimating on metal versus other materials is similar, there are a few key things to keep in mind to make your sublimation pop on this substrate.

Can I sublimate on any glass?

If you would have asked this question a few decades back, the answer might have been negative but today you can sublimate almost any kind of glass.

Can you use Cricut infusible ink on any sublimation blank?

The Cricut Infusible Ink sheets are essentially pre-printed sublimation sheets, which means you can apply the sheets and Cricut Infusible markers to any sublimation blank…and there are tons to pick from!

Can I sublimate onto nylon?

While it is possible to sublimate nylon at low temperatures, there are many types of nylon and they react differently to dyes. However, there is a tendency for the dye to oxidize in the sunlight, which will fade over time.

Can you sublimate on plastic keychains?

Remember: sublimation ink can permanently transfer to polyester and polymers. These keychains are polymers. The keychain tags are very light weight yet durable, kind of like a grocery store “shoppers club” tag. Because they are so lightweight, people will not be dragged down by the weight of numerous tags.
