How do I VSP out-of-network?

  1. Be sure your receipts have been scanned and are accessible by your computer.
  2. Login to your vsp.com account.
  3. Click on View Your Benefits, then My Benefits.
  4. Scroll down and click Submit an Out-of-Network Claim.
  5. Complete the fields and follow the prompts.
  6. Upload your receipts.
  7. Click Submit.

Does VSP cover out-of-network frames?

If your plan provides out-of-network benefits and you choose to see an out-of-network provider, you will need to submit the claim to VSP for reimbursement. If you choose to see an out-of-network provider, your coverage will likely be less than when you see an VSP network eye doctor.

  1. Click Billing > Enter Insurance Payment.
  2. For Payment Type, select Out-of-Network Insurance Payment.
  3. From the Payer dropdown, select the appropriate payer.
