Go to Mygm in the options, then Team owner and hit X, it’ll give you the option to resign. That absolutely did it.

Go to Options > MyLeague Automation > scroll right or left to the Nets and change “user controlled” to yes, then find the Knicks and change that to no. I thought you couldn’t do that if you only selected one team at the beginning but it’s worth a try.

How many teams can you relocate in NBA 2k21?

It has ALL of the same features as an offline MyLeague, and it can be trimmed down to as few as 12 teams in the event you don’t want any cpu-controlled teams.
