Lay-by is available in store only. The following conditions apply: Minimum 20% deposit. Minimum lay-by value $50.00 (can be made up of more than one item)

Can you do layby online?

To Lay-by items online, shop online as you usually would, and once you have everything you need, go to Checkout and select ‘Lay-by’. Online lay-by is only available for products marked as available for Pick up.

Can you use Qcard at the warehouse?

You can pay for your order with a credit or debit card. We currently accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Farmlands/CRT Card (in store only), Q Card, Warehouse Money and Purple Visa Credit Cards. The Warehouse also offers Zip online and in store which is a buy now and pay later service.

How much is a layby deposit?

Deposits may range between 10-20% of the total price. If the goods are too large to be stored at the shop or the seller’s business premises, the seller may charge a storage fee. The seller must ask if you agree to this when you begin the layby as it forms part of the agreement.

How long do warehouse refunds take?

When will I receive my refund? A typical refund will take up to 21 days, that’s 14 days you returning and us processing it, with up to 7 days for it to make its way through the banking system.

Can you cancel a layby and get your money back?

You can cancel the lay-by agreement at any time before you receive the products. If you cancel the lay-by, the business must refund your deposit and all other amounts you’ve paid except for the termination fee. Where your payments don’t cover the termination fee, you will have to pay the fee.

Does Laybuy do a hard credit check?

The very first purchase made with a Laybuy account will require a hard credit and affordability check (carried out by Experian) to determine whether or not the customer will be accepted for finance and, if so, how much credit they will be offered – between £60 and £600.
