Camping is welcome throughout the National Park but in order to protect some of our most cherished lochshores, byelaws covering camping and firelighting are in effect in some parts of the Park between March and September.

Where can I camp in Loch Lomond without a permit?

Wild camping in Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park is a fun experience and campers are permitted to pitch their tent anywhere in the months of October to February without any permit.

Can you camp on Inchcailloch?

As the island is a nature reserve, occupancy is limited to a maximum of 12 people per night, with individual group sizes limited to 6 people. Pitches are available from 12.30pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 11am on your day of departure. The campsite is open from 1st March – 30th September.

Where is Loch Lomond RV park in Nova Scotia?

We camped at Loch Lomond RV Park in a Motorhome. Very close to good shopping, but don’t stop there, go into the town and enjoy the shopping and restaurants there. Be sure to stop at Deanne Fitzpatrick’s rug hooking shop! There are interesting murals downtown.
