Does Ardley tip take plasterboard?
Plasterboard and asbestos will only be accepted at Redbridge, Dix Pit and Ardley Fields.

DIY waste is anything that formed part of the fixtures and fittings of your home, but it excludes the loose contents. For example, DIY waste includes any items fixed to a wall or floor, such as: A fitted bath, A fitted carpet.
Can I take a trailer to the tip Norfolk?
We have no restrictions or permit systems in place for vans or trailers at Norfolk’s recycling centres. Site staff may ask where the waste has come from if you are bringing large quantities to ensure it is household waste.
Is alkerton tip open during lockdown?
The extended service at household waste recycling centres will mean that from Tuesday the centres at Alkerton, Ardley, Dix Pit, Drayton, Oakley Wood, Redbridge and Stanford in the Vale will now open at 8am and close at the later time of 5pm. This applies seven days a week.
Is Dix Pit open during lockdown?
This scheme is currently on hold due to COVID-19. Please check back for any updates.
Are Oxfordshire recycling Centres open during lockdown?
Our centres are open with amended site rules in line with guidance. All rules and procedures will be regularly reviewed and restrictions may be lifted. You can make as many trips as you wish but consider if each trip is essential. Site staff will not be challenging residents on their decision.
Are tips open bank holidays?
Despite most tips, or household waste recycling centres, being closed on major days over the festive season – including New Year’s Day – they are typically open on Bank Holiday Monday.
Can I take my van to the tip Kent?
Vehicle restrictions Hire vans are not permitted access to the Household Waste Recycling Centres.
