What happened otakon?
We are very sad to announce that we must join the countless other events around the world and announce the cancelation of Otakon 2020. While we had been clinging to the last bits of hope that our later dates would allow us the potential to hold an event, on April 17th it was announced that our venue, the Walter E.

Will otakon happen this year?
Due to the current state of events and complications from COVID-19, Otakon 2020 has officially been canceled. Otakon 2020 was originally scheduled for July 31-August 2, which might seem like a safe time to hold the event. The new dates for the Otakon 2021 are August 6-8, 2021 at the Walter E.
Does otakon sell out?
When do I get my tickets? I ordered them online. Otakon does not sell tickets. Otakorp allows you to buy memberships in the organization, which allows us to host a very large meeting every year.

Brown Convention Center. Brown Convention Center and used the first and most of the second floors. Anime Matsuri 2020 was moved from July to August due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and was later canceled after Houston announced the city would be holding no more events in 2020.
