Start your review of El Segundo Beach. This beach is really underrated. It’s not as crowded as nearby Manhattan or Venice beaches which is a bonus and the crowd is far more diverse. Nice family atmosphere with groups dotted across the beach but never insane. Friendly helpful lifeguards.

Manhattan Beach Pier has been my favorite place for sunset-being very accessible from LAX with restaurant areas nearby. El Segundo Beach is not a pier -sand beach. I like the fact that this place is somewhat more quiet and can see the sunset right from my car parked in a parking lot.
