Parking is located at the intersection of East Maple Street and Amethyst Street. The trail ends at the parking area across from the Dry Lake Campground on Buffalo Pass Road. Either return back down the trail or head down the Buffalo Pass Road to Strawberry Park.

Where to hike Spring Creek in Steamboat Springs?
Hiked from Buffalo Pass to the Spring Creek TH in Steamboat Springs. Good morning hike in late July. Took about 2 hours, mostly downhill. Saw lots and lots of butterflies, some bumblebees and many varieties of wildflowers. Final mile or so follows a narrow dirt road to the Spring Creek area.
