Does Streamlight have lifetime warranty?

Streamlight warrants its products to be free of defects for a lifetime of use except for batteries and bulbs, abuse and normal wear*. Your particular Streamlight product may have a different warranty that was in place at the time of purchase. Please provide proof of purchase when processing a warranty claim.

Can you leave Streamlight on the charger?

If you use it regularly (even a few minutes a week), you can keep it on the charger. This uses the old fashioned NiCd battery with the C/10 charge rate (16 hours) so it can handle the overcharge.

How long do Streamlight batteries last?

Just make sure the new battery has the same capacity and operates within the voltage range of the flashlight. NiCad batteries have a shelf life of about five years and can last for up to 1000 recharge cycles. Most people prefer to replace them with lithium or lithium polymer batteries after this due to many reasons.

Can a Streamlight flashlight be repaired at home?

Generally the batteries and bulbs of Streamlight products are user-serviceable. Some other repairs require complex procedures, special tools, and can void the warranty and/or approval rating of the flashlight. Those repairs should be performed only by the Factory or an Authorized Repair Center.
