Rin lost both of her arms because of a birth defect, but that never stopped her from doing what she wanted. Because of her disability she got quite adept at using her feet and mouth for everyday tasks, or something extraordinary like painting.
Why was Katawa Shoujo made?

Soon after, Four Leaf Studios (4LS) was assembled from various users to make a visual novel from the sketch. When does Rin’s route end in Katawa Shoujo?
The following path to Rin’s story would end during Act 3. I believe that this is a bad end to her route. Good end coming soon. I have the feeling that there might even be a neutral ending to this, aside from good and bad, because tere are many choices to make in Rin’s route.

Is the ending of Katawa Shoujo a good ending?
The above led to what seems like a good ending to me. I missed a lot of scenes in the Hanako route though :-s I got the very same ending and Hanako Route percentage of completion did not rise even by 1 when I chose “Yes” instead of “Maybe” in Act 1.
