PCSX ReARMed (PCSXR) is a PlayStation 1 (PSX) emulator based designed for ARM-based machines. PCSXR is based on the uber-popular PCSX Reloaded emulator, one of the most widely distributed PSX emulators.

In case the PCSX ReARMed core can find no BIOS files named like this in RetroArch’s system directory, it will default to a High-Level Emulation BIOS. This decreases the level of compatibility of the emulator, so it is recommended that you always supply valid BIOS images inside the system directory.
Can RetroArch play PS1 games?
As long as you have an XInput-enabled gamepad, you won’t need to do too much to have a good RetroArch PS1 emulation experience. If you’ve followed up to to this point, your controller is ready to use, and you’ve acquired the PS1 bios file(s) that you’ll need to play your games.

What kind of games can you play on PCSX Rearmed?
So far I´ve got: Alundra, FF VII, Heart of Darkness, Metal Slug X and both the Oddworld games. If you know any other good working games feel free to mention them below. I would guess on the 2D games and pre-rendered one´s, not sure though, but it takes a lot of time to skim through ´em all on my own.
Which is better, duckstation, PCSX Rearmed or Mednafen / beetle?
I currently use DuckStation because it has that cool weird upscaling thing and it’s a really new emulator that a lot of people have recommended but I want to know if there are any benefits (better ROM compatibility, emulation quality, etc) of using alternatives like the popular PCSX ReARMed or Mednafen/Beetle.
How does Mednafen multi system download emulator work?
Mednafen is a portable, utilizing OpenGL and SDL, argument (command-line)-driven multi-system emulator. Mednafen has the ability to remap hotkey functions and virtual system inputs to a keyboard, a joystick, or both simultaneously. Save states are supported, as is real-time game rewinding.
Which is better for PC, Mednafen or beetle?
Edit: I switched to Beetle because DuckStation and PCSX-ReARMed both kept crashing and Mednafen is the only one that works properly (a few minor visual glitches but still decent emulation and barely noticeable).
