The simple reason for this post is that some consumers prefer that their carpet cleaner do the vacuuming before their professional carpet cleaning.

How much does it cost to have a sofa professionally cleaned?

If you need to have your loveseat, sofa, or couch cleaned, you can expect to shell out between $50 and $200. Keep in mind that the larger the couch, the more expensive it’ll be to clean.

How do you calculate cleaning costs?

To give a customer an estimate, add the times for the areas given by the customer, divide those times by 60 to get how long it will take to clean, and multiply that number by your hourly rate. For example, 200/60 = 3.33 x $30 = $100. The number you get will be the amount you charge your customer.

Is it better to clean carpet with hot or cold water?

If you don’t remove all the soap when you clean your carpet, it will attract dirt. After you get out your carpet cleaner, fill the clean tank to the line with hot (not boiling) tap water. Hot water does a better job cleaning than cold but, if you boil it, you run the risk of melting parts of your carpet cleaner.
