What you need to fill out the Dream Act Application

Can I apply DREAM Act 2020?

The 2021-2022 Dream Application will be available starting October 1, 2020. Students are encouraged to submit their Dream Application on or before the March 2, 2021 deadline using 2019 income information. To apply visit: dream.csac.ca.gov. Students apply for a Cal Grant when they submit their Dream Act Application.

What is DREAM Act application?

The California Dream Act Application allows students interested in attending eligible California Colleges, Universities and Career Education Programs to apply for state financial aid. This application is unrelated to the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Do I qualify for the DREAM Act?

One major requirement for students’ to qualify for the DREAM Act, is to either be in school full time, or have earned their high school diploma, GED or Certificate of High School Completion.

Can I still apply for the DREAM Act?

To apply for relief under the DREAM Act, these young people would have to graduate from high school or earn a GED, have good moral character, have come to the U.S. when they were young and show that they have lived in the U.S. for at least five years. Students would then be eligible to apply for conditional status.
