Why does GroupMe stop sending messages?
If you’re not receiving notifications, please try turning them off and on again. Also, be sure that you have notifications enabled in your mobile device settings. In addition, there are a few other places to check your settings in GroupMe.

Why can’t GroupMe load my group?
Clear app’s cache, and data (Android only) On your Android phone, go to Settings > Apps > tap on GroupMe > Storage > Clear cache. DO NOT use the ‘Clear data’ OR ‘Clear storage’ option for now. Open the GroupMe app again and try to add a member now. If clearing the cache didn’t help, you can clear its data.
How do you add members to GroupMe?
- In the group chat you want to add people to, tap the group’s avatar (profile picture), then tap Members .
- Tap Add members. , then search for the people you want to add by typing in their name, email, or phone number.
- Tap the person’s name to add them to the group, then tap Done .
