By spring, we anticipate resuming to 100% of our pre-pandemic, in-person campus course offerings. We have long offered online and hybrid classes — roughly 5% of our total sections — and that will continue or increase based on best pedagogical approaches.
Does CSULB accept spring applications?
CSULB accepts applications from upper-division transfer students each year from October 1 through November 30 for admission to the following fall semester and from August 1 through August 31 for the spring semester. When do summer classes start at CSULB 2019?
Summer classes are held via ZOOM from July 6 – August 30. Registration opens on June 14. Payment is by credit card. Returning member? Membership must be purchased first if not paid in 2021.
How to drop a class at California State University?
During the first two weeks of class, you may drop one or more classes using self-service registration on MyCSULB Student Center. Starting the third week of class, if you wish to withdraw from a class, you must complete the online withdrawal request on MyCSULB Student Center.

When to drop out of CSULB to get a refund?
If you do not plan to attend CSULB for the semester, you should drop all classes before the first day of instruction in order to get a 100% refund on tuition. Dropping/Withdrawing from all classes after instruction begins will result in owing pro-rated fees based on the date of the action.
